High Blood Cholesterol: Common Health Disorder

Cholesterol or hypercholesterolemia is known as the yellowish fatty substance in the body. It is termed as the essential substance within the body which supports our living system. But it acts as a major drawback for heart diseases. Any person suffering from high blood cholesterol is found to have the potency of getting heart attack or a stroke. The HDL plays an effective role in removing the excessive cholesterol from the blood thus reducing the risk of heart diseases.

Causes of High Blood Cholesterol:

High Blood Cholesterol is considered to be a hereditary problem and is mainly caused by consuming fried and processed foods, excessive intake of milk products like ghee, cream, butter, sugar, white flour, pastries, cakes, biscuits, eggs and non-vegetarian foods. Another cause of high cholesterol is excessive habit of drinking alcohol and smoking.

Home Remedies of High Blood Cholesterol:

Lecithin: To cure high blood cholesterol, lecithin proves as an effective home remedy. The consumption of lecithin enriched foods like vegetable oils, wholegrain cereals, unpasteurized milk, soybeans and egg yolk every day help in reducing the excessive cholesterol level within the body.

Sunflower Seeds: To cure high blood cholesterol sunflower seeds are really useful home remedy. The daily intake of sunflower seeds within the diet may help in regulating the cholesterol level within the body.

Coriander Seeds: Coriander seeds prove as an effective home remedy for curing high blood cholesterol. It is advised that decoction made from coriander seeds if consumed two times a day will regulate the excessive cholesterol level within the body.
