Getting Your Site to the Top of Google Empty Getting Your Site to the Top of Google

For every young (or new) internet marketer, getting a brand new website to the top of one of Google's search results pages is the dream. As someone just starting out in this business, you might not have a lot of money to invest. The great thing is that (as long as you do a lot of writing and work hard) you can have a website up and running for less than $30.

I must make a quick point here, however. There's no use getting a website to the top of a search engine results page (SERPS) for a keyword that gets no searches. Remember that searching for every single keyword in Google will provide you with a different list of results, so choose carefully. So how do you know which keywords are being searched for? You need to use Google's keyword tool, which is free and available for everyone. By typing in a keyword it'll return to you how many searches that keyword gets each month (make sure to set the tool to 'exact match' to get an accurate number) as well as giving you a list of related keywords that you might not have thought of.

Although there are no guarantees as to how well you will rank (since ranking for different keywords varies greatly in difficulty), you shouldn't worry too much (at least for the first 6 months) about how well you're ranking. The fact is, if you do enough SEO and enough link building, you're pretty much guaranteed to rank for a keyword related to the one you've been trying to optimise for (if not that keyword itself).

First or all your website needs to be the best one accessible for the articles and casework you are offering. If your website does not attending professional, is not user friendly, is not clear and is not proving the articles humans want, it will accomplish no aberration even if you do get into the top search engine positions, you will still not advertise anything.
